Stephanie's Story
In November of 2024 a mass was found on Stephanie's brain after a medical emergency landed her in Baxter Hospital. She was flown to Fayetteville where she was diagnosed with stage 4 glioblastoma. They did surgery in Fayetteville, removing a good portion of the mass. The surgery was followed by chemotherapy and radiation. She underwent another MRI after completing the chemo and radiation and found that the tumor was once again growing and that the course of treatment was unsuccessful. She is now on Avastin (another chemo drug) and the future is uncertain at this time. She was initially hoping to return to work after the first round of chemo and radiation, but unfortunately that is not going to happen. Mark (her husband) is her caretaker. He takes her to and from all of her appointments and tries to work as much as possible. In doing so, she has to accompany him out while he is working and that is exhausting on her already compromised immune system. Stephanie is one of the kindest, loving, supportive, hard-working women I have ever known. She has always been the one taking care of everyone else and now she needs some help. She is a fighter and I pray every single day that God will lead the Doctors to the tools needed to keep her around as long as possible. Expenses are continuing to add up on top of the everyday expenses. I know she is so grateful for everyone who has reached out, prayed for her and donated already. If you are able to do so, please consider donating.
If you cannot give financial help, please pray for her.
Thank You!
